Why I Am a Healer

by Sophie on October 12, 2010

I am a healer because I want to change the world.

I am a healer because when I meet someone who does not smile, I want to hear their pain and hold it tenderly until they remember, until from the depth of their soul and body the desire for joy springs again.

What keeps me listening to all the horror stories, the accounts of damage, betrayal, trauma, rape and abuse? The knowledge that IT CAN BE CHANGED! That WE CAN HEAL. We can all heal. No one is too broken, too damaged or too hurt to be be happy again. There ARE ways to make things better, deeply, for good.

Pain CAN be erased, removed and transmuted. I don’t mean forgotten. I don’t mean “Don’t dwell on the past” or “Pull yourself together”. I mean everything is energy so if you don’t like the shape of that energy pattern, CHANGE IT! Create differently.

I wish I could tell you all the stories I have seen change, tell you about all the ways my life has changed and all the ways the lives of my clients have changed. There is hope. Healing is very real. People DO get better, for good, for ever. Pain CAN stop. Physical pain as well as emotional pain or spiritual angst. Depression can be temporary. Bodies can be made whole again.

That is why I am a healer, why I write, why I teach and why I love: YOU!

Because if you want to heal yourself, I want to support you in any way I can and teach you what I know about transmuting pain into joy!

Why do YOU do what you do? Please tell me in a comment. I would really like to know!

I am a healer because I know at my core that is why I am here…to hold a vibration of health for my clients, to allow their body, mind and spirit remember how to heal, to help them choose love, to hold them tenderly until they remember that they are love and that they are already healthy and whole. My heart is joyful when I am helping in this way. You are so right on, we are all energy and energy can be changed – with your intention and desire. Emotions transform energy, energy is movement, movement is change and change is the essence of life. Embrace change today! Sophie, you have been intrumental in changing and evolvong my healing abilities. I am so ever grateful for you! Love, Nancy
