Why Do Some People Not Heal?
Because you must be willing to change in order to heal.
If you think you need healing, it means you are not happy with something or you are hurting. Some situation, set of circumstances or decisions created the pain. Whether your parents, your neighbors or your culture created the circumstances that hurt you or whether your past decisions (and by past I mean in this life time as well as in past lives) created the situation that hurts you, you can’t change any of those any time soon. You can only change YOU or your immediate circumstances fast enough to heal.
Sure, social change is real and being an activist can be useful and inspiring. Sure, your partner needs to change to quit their bad habits and become more aware. But all that will take time AND you can’t control it. No, really, you CAN’T control the change, even if you are currently controlling their behavior.
How you feel about yourself, who you forgive, how you connect with the Divine, what hormonal messages you send the cells in your body: all that can change in a few seconds.
Where you live, where you work, what you eat, how you spend your money, all that can change in a few days or weeks.
I have changed all these things in my life because I wanted to heal. I mean really heal, deep inside my body at cellular level but also deep inside my soul where what I have learned now, I know for eternity and I contribute to the archetypal human body of knowledge.
You must be willing to change to heal. You must be willing to changes your attitude, your emotions, your beliefs and your circumstances to heal. You must be willing to change deeply to heal You must be willing to change your relationship to yourself, to life and to the Divine to heal.
You must be willing to change to heal. You must be willing to change to heal. You must be willing to change to heal.
