Not a Vibrational Match Anymore

by Sophie on October 13, 2011

When I have asked recently why I had to let go of so many relationships and support groups, the anwer was the same every time: “Because you are not a vibrational match anymore”.

There was no sense of right or wrong, no blame for me or the other party, no room for shame. No sense that I needed to learn a deep lesson about trust or self sufficiency or self esteem. Just that: “You are not a vibrational match anymore”. A simple fact of life and of growing at different rates or in different directions.

And with that message came a deep sense of inner peace and of feeling held and loved. As it always feels when we are comforted by angels or held in Divine truth.

Thank you for a simple notion that allows for an uncomplicated transition into new areas of living. Interestingly this helped me feel an inner relaxation about some partings that are currently happening in my life. Your wording “vibrational match” cuts through so much mental chatter that can arise as a result of parting with a friend that no longer resonates with what we need to grow.

Yes parting with friends creates a lot of mental chatter. I think the mental chatter is a response to the emotional chatter/distress. An attempt to rationalize and control the pain. But it doesn’t help much at the end of the day. That’s why i always strive to get back to peace, as I know you do Dear Harmon.

It is entirely true that, as change occurs we naturally may move apart from others with whom we have shared a relationship in the past. Such is the nature of the process in which we mature spiritually. If you consider that we came to this plain of existence as part of our evolution as spiritual beings, it makes perfect sense that we will be changed in some way by the experiences we have. Once we become aware that the real objective of this process is to reconnect fully with the infinite love of God, the shift in our consciousness changes or vibration state so that many of those things which once seemed important we lay aside, put down or simply fall away. I’ve taken to calling this process as, lightening the load. We each move through our process at differing rates so, we may indeed be more advanced in the process than some, but not so much as others. For all the destination is the same.

Hi Marvin!

I am just off the phone and the conversation with my friend was about EXACTLY that: the point is to deepen our relationship with the Divine and helping others is only one of the ways in which we do that. I came to my computer to write my next blog post about this and found your comment! I am smiling from ear to ear. 🙂
