Grateful for all the Healers and Therapists in the World

by Sophie on November 22, 2012

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It’s inclusive and non-denominational. A whole day dedicated to some of my favorite things: gratitude and abundance. Works for me!

The past year was full of surprising discoveries that lead to deeper personal healing. As I heal further, I become a better channel for healingĀ  and I am particularly grateful for all the individuals who have created the healing techniques we now have access to.

From psychotherapy, massage, acupuncture and homeopathy to EMDR, sacro-cranial, colon hydrotherapy and nutrition, all the creators, developers, writers, teachers and practitioners have created a body of work that has allowed me to heal and my children to have a better childhood than mine. After thousands of years of wars and trauma, being a loving individual or good parent was often not enough to support others in blossoming and thriving. I am not blaming anyone in particular for what happened or did not happen. I am grateful that we now know better so we can do better by each other.

Even though I still have a lot to heal, learn and implement, I am grateful that every year is better than the year before. Together all the therapists and healers are changing the world for the better, one individual at a time, as we have been for over a century now and it’s really starting to show. Thank you.
