Dealing with Grief
I was inspired by a Facebook status from the wonderful Ellen Brown to share with you what I have found helpful when dealing with grief.
1- ASK: sit down, be peaceful, ground myself, go within and ask: where is the grief held in my body? How does it feel?
2- FOLLOW THE THREAD: Where does that feeling in my body lead me to?What tastes? smells? colors? emotions? Memories? In other words: what was the original event that create what is now held as grief? Your body remembers everything that happened to you. It’s in there somewhere!
3- GATHER SUPPORT: Who can I turn to for a chat, a hug and a sweet hot cup of tea when the full pain of the original event hits me? Sometimes cyber support is enough, sometimes it needs a phone call. Usually, for the deep pain, I need contact with a real live person who can actually hold me or at least give me a hug!
4- REMEDIES: taking homeopathic remedy Ignatia in a 6c or a 30c potency. It moves grief along like nothing else. Dr Bach’s Rescue remedy is ready made and really helps also. Not to forget the hot sweet tea!
5- LOVE myself for being brave, honest, courageous and smart in always seeking the truth that heals!
Love yourself too every time you confront grief and grow as a result of it!
6- HELP: If all that is not enough, I get professional help to remove blocks, negative beliefs and painful memories and raise my vibration back into joy.
