How does one know they are supposed to be a healer? I was asked recently.

I think when we ARE healers, we spend most of our life knowing that we are different. Then later on we gradually become aware of certain abilities and talents that others don’t seem to have. Like being psychic, knowing stuff about people, seeing or hearing angels or guides, making people feel markedly better even if we don’t know how we are doing it.

Now there is a big difference between being a healer which is what you are, like being a man or a woman or being American or being musical or being academic and WORKING as a healer, which we never have to do even if we are healers. Just like you don’t have to be a musician just because you have musical talent.

How did I know I was a healer? Because healers told me I was! It happens a lot that a healer will recognize an emerging healer and tell them they are a healer, share experiences, try to guide them on the way. Often we don’t believe the first person who says it! haha! Then it happens again and we start paying attention… It’s a classic story My acupuncturist told me when I was about 29 that I was a healer and could do what she did. I laughed. But soon after friends started telling me that I had helped them get better in ways that I was not even aware of having done.

4 years later, when my homeopath, who had never met my acupuncturist, told me all the same things, I started paying attention.

Then signs, symbols, dreams started to appear. I became friends with healers, I was watching them and realized that I was jealous of them, wishing I could be them, do what they did, have their life style (which I do now, by the way!) That was a strong sign that I was recognizing something in them that was speaking to me deeply.

Two years later my Reiki Master was telling me all the same things my acupuncturist and homeopath had told me… I’d heard it all 3 times… I decided to believe all 3 of them from now on. Besides: what did I have to lose? It was very uncomfortable being who I was at the time. Like still being a teenager who did not know what she wanted to be if ever she was going to grow up.

Most healers I know go through a phase of feeling like they won’t be understood if and when they give in to the knowing that they are healers and let themselves blossom into who they are. I would say anyone who is in the process of changing their lives (more education, new job, new place to live, having kids, changing religion etc) has similar fears. That’s why it’s important to:
1- stay in touch with your intuition and know that what you are doing/learning is right for YOU.
2- watch the results of those changes in your life to make sure that they are positive, mostly pleasant and WHAT YOU WANT to do with your life.
3- create support from people who understand your new experiences and learning. That’s why I teach to groups instead of individuals: so my students can support each other as well as having me help them.

There are many teachers and many healing modalities. So you need to choose who and what suits you best if you decide to learn and develop your talents with someone.

It’s also often a question of timing: feeling ready. Or being desperate to move on. Or being so fed up with being in limbo that we just want to learn and find out what it’s all about.

All this is really why I offer my course “Awakening the Healer Within” . It’s a lot of what I know and it’s everything I wish I was told and taught 14 or 15 years ago when I was still wondering what was ‘wrong with me”. Nothing was wrong with me, it turned out to be!

The thing I like best about past lives is coming out of them and realizing that I am still in the 21st century, safe and sound whatever I’ve just re-lived and remembered, either for me or for a client.

I was blessed, after the challenging week I mentioned in my last post to have the opportunity to work a lot, with clients, but also on myself daily. This afternoon a wonderful healer friend held space for me while I followed the fear in the pit of my stomach and landed 900 years ago in a nightmarish part of European history. The character I was at the time walked away alive with her family, which I did not expect at all, but of course not unscathed by the terror and carnage. She was a little nobody, nothing special about her, just a human being doing her best to be truthful, loving, honest, quite enlightened and connected to her God in the middle of turmoil. She followed her intuition and took good care of her family. I told you there was nothing special about her: she was like so many of us are now, doing her best.

The emotional and psychological trauma she incurred at the time was revisited several times in other lifetimes to try and understand and work through it and still affects me today, that’s why we put our attention on it this afternoon! I never “do past lives” or “read past lives” just for the sport of it. I only go there when there is no other explanation and when there is an obvious emotional charge with an ancient place or time period or when I have some knowledge that I can’t explain in any other way.

Today’s work was deep, surprising, new and I am so thankful I had a powerful, logical and educated guardian by my side (physically 150 miles away, we worked on the phone as I often do). This is what I provide for my clients and it is such a blessing to be able to receive it in return!

Not only do I feel healed and more whole but I feel like I am back from a long trip through history and I am LOVING my computer, my cell phone, FaceBook, my blog, my healer friends, my fun and comparatively easy 21st century experience!!

Since last Wednesday, I have been challenged beyond word. I fell like whatever I am not good at is being put under the microscope and amplified on a large screen, very loud High Definition TV, right in my living room, right in my face!

Patience being one of the areas where I am being tested. It’s been one of my learning grounds all my life and all the other events are really stretching that one to new levels!

My mothering skills is another area being challenged and from what I hear from my friends, I am not the only one at the moment!

Money coming and going, appearing and disappearing like it’s all an illusion and a really funny joke… ?

Boundaries, knowing what I stand for, what feeds me and sustains me and making sure that I have access to it. Boundaries with others and feeling respected. Several times a day and in various ways, some of them really unexpected!!

Sometimes Ascension is fun and sometimes, not so much! Overall I feel like I got soaking wet in a sudden and violent storm and someone just threw me in the tumble dryer: I know it’s good for me to dry instead of rotting but I’m not enjoying being tossed around so violently!
Being honest with all my raw emotions, including the recently very negative ones seems to help. I don’t feel like a ‘nice healer’ at all at the moment. Where is all the love, the Love, the sweetness, the compassion, I have cultivated for 30 years I ask? pffft, has it evaporated in the heat of summer? I feel angry and resentful on a regular basis. Which is good beacuse I am suddenly getting to the root cause of a lot of ooooooold stuff. Thankfully I also have 30 years of healing experience and I am very skilled at using the energy tools at my disposal so I am  able to work through the root causes quite fast and able to re-balance in a few hours.

Of course I have also had some incredibly sweet, pleasant and insightful moments when I am at peace and in tune with my raw positive emotions and with the people around me. Glimpses of a future of eternal bliss I hope! (haha!) The best way I have found to even things out is to really focus on appreciating the present moment. Relax into it. Enjoy the beauty. I spend as much time as possible outside, looking at beauty rather than thinking. Grounding myself, breathing, drinking water and eating nutrient rich food. I find that being up on my vitamins, minerals etc really helps to balance negative emotions. I also keep on asking others for support. More about that in my next post.

How far is Heaven? How long till we get there? How much are we supposed to ascend in this current transformation of humanity? I am not sure but I know it’s happening right now! The changes in my body, soul and emotions are deep and to say that I have been under the weather for the past couple of months is putting it mildly. Tonight there was a respite and I remembered that when I have such a hard time with my life, I am usually part of a larger wave and that my documenting what I am going through often supports others. So here is what I am observing in my life and those around me:

• headaches
• severing of the relationships that produced more drama and heartache than joy, however painful the change
• numbness, either physical or emotional
• physical loss of balance and dizziness (that’s a real classic ascension symptom!)
• physical and mental exhaustion which I think comes from our body and energy system working so hard to keep up with rapid change
• “depression” or rather huge sadness (that must be about all that we need to let go of in order to become what we need to become now)
• change in the way we perceive the world, either physically or spiritually (usually for the better, sometimes just different)
• many opportunities to receive support

I think our minds (or brains) and hearts are being re-wired in ways that we cannot understand and are barely aware of.

I have also been:

• more intuitive than ever
• accurately able to feel who is thinking about me or about to interact with me
• able to see or feel the real motives behind other people’s actions and words
• VERY aware of the angry, frustrated or hurt inner child that drives so many of us into uncooperative behaviors.
• very sensitive to and very intolerant of cruelty, cold-heartedness and the absence of love. I used to be able to tolerate it with compassion but now it makes me want to RUN! I think it’s because it’s not life sustaining and it’s a huge energy drain.

As always the answer seems to be to:

• let go of more rubbish, internal as well as external, physical as well as emotional or even spiritual
• SLEEP and REST
• stay hydrated
• stay GROUNDED at all times (it’s the only way to stay balanced AND to to grow spiritually!)
• remain vulnerable and connected to our true emotions, however painful
• remain vulnerable and able to receive, however much we feel like recoiling and hiding
• remember the magic! Remember your energy work, homeopathy and flower remedies. Remember your meditations, trusted spiritual traditions, support circles. Remember to create more magic in your life!

There are deep ripples in the background energy of Oneness with consequences in the energy fields we live our more every day lives in. I cannot explain to you why it is happening or how it works. All I can do is try to report the truth to you as accurately as possible.

I have to give you a disclaimer that if you don’t feel concerned by this post, let it be and go do something fun! We all live on slightly different and parallel reality planes that co-exist quite happily!

If you feel concerned by the current welling up of the energy and if you feel this occurrence is having deep consequences in your everyday life, is revealing to you some truths that were previously hidden or asking you to make some choices that you thought you were never going to be faced with, all I can tell you is that the Goddess is stirring.

The shift has already happened as you know. Now we are implementing the new energy in our everyday lives, which means that we are expanding and purifying who we are. Read: becoming more intuitive, less emotional, stronger and less ego centered.

I know what it looks like in my life. I don’t know what this change looks like in your life if it is having any effect at all. All I know is that the energy world I live in is certainly not the one I lived in 2 years ago.

I am an internationally known Energy Healer and Master Teacher. My gift has been creating miracles in hundreds of clients and students’ lives since 1998. It only takes me a few minutes:

1. to connect you to the Heart of God
2. to remove negative beliefs, patterns and fears that hurt you
3. to download into your energy system the energies of tenderness, self confidence,  joy and peace to raise your vibration closer to the Heart of God

So how did I become that amazingly gifted healer? I am often asked. Here is the short version of my story:

I was born an empath and as a child I could feel other people’s pain and joy as if they were my own. I thought everyone was like that! Raised Catholic in France, I looked for a God that I knew existed but I could not connect with anywhere in my life. In spite of a stressful and painful childhood in a severely dysfunctional family (like so many, I know!) I always thought of myself as “lucky”. I now know that I was following exceptional intuition.

In my teens I became clairvoyant and started seeing what was happening to loved ones when I was away from them. It was like a movie playing in my mind and when I checked the time and events with them, it was always accurate. I became used to it and started trusting the psychic information I was receiving in that way. I once had a very strong sense to go back to Paris at a certain date. I became obsessed with the idea. My husband relented and agreed to spend money we did not really have for a plane ticket when I was a full time student. I flew the next Friday and on landing was told that a very dear friend was in the hospital after a failed suicide attempt. She said later that my appearing out of nowhere was a great comfort to her.

In my early twenties I went to college and traveled around Europe, lived in Spain and settled in the UK.  I was suffering from migraine headaches, insomnia, depression and anxiety due to PTSD. I had gout, candida, IBS, allergies and chronic exhaustion due to years of trauma and stress. There was also sinusitis, near chronic bronchitis, endometriosis and pre-cancerous cells due to years of repressed anger. I was in bed 2 weeks out of every month. Doctors in the UK predicted I would probably never have children. It felt like my body was shutting down. Most of them auto-immune disease, fatigue and inflammation if you notice: typical healers’ diseases! (You think I should be dead by now? It sure felt like it!)

1989 was a life changing year: the depression I had been battling since I was 7  led me to study yoga then Tibetan Buddhism. My heart settled, I learned compassion and took up the practice of sitting in meditation for many blissful hours (I still do to this day). Maybe as a result of this, I started intuitively ‘knowing’ things about people that nobody had told me. There was a depth to their words and body language that told me the background story nobody knew.

That is also when I began spontaneous channeling in every day conversation. Friends would come back to me months or years later and say: “Do you remember this conversation we had? The advice you gave me that day completely changed my life”. Or: “Do you remember the letter you wrote me? It came at exactly the right time and it was exactly what I needed to know.” I know when I channel because:

• I suddenly have access to knowledge I did not have until then
• it’s exactly what the other person needs to hear
• I often use words and grammar that are different from my usual speech
• I forget the communication as soon as it’s over (even though I have exceptional memory for social interaction)

In 1989 I also became clairaudient: I was hearing loving guiding voices. I soon realized that I was communicating with angels. I am a very logical person so I checked the information they imparted against facts and it always turned out to be accurate (still does). I relaxed into it and learned to trust the guidance I receive.

In my thirties I was attuned and became a Reiki Master in 6 months. I taught Reiki, mostly to mothers and their families. I studied homeopathy, Flower Remedies and Crystal Healing.  I started remembering some of my past lives and seeing my clients’ past lives. Again, they looked like movies.

I was spontaneously attuned to Christ energy as a result of a deep prayer, which

• put me at peace with my Catholic upbringing
• allowed me to recover from the abuse and trauma of my childhood
• eliminated both gout and sinus infection
• gave me a strong sense of what a tender and loving Masculine energy felt like.

I was also a La Leche League Leader and a homeschooling Mom, balancing a deep spiritual calling with the joys and demands of family life. Everything I teach now, I learned through my own every day life!

In my forties everything accelerated. After the birth of my third child, I became extremely ill again and had to spend most of a year in bed with chronic fatigue, extreme allergies, asthma and IBS. The following year I lost most of what I owned. At the end of those two years, I had learned to:

• forgive,
• be grateful,
• surrender to Divine will (at last!)
• listen to guidance and intuition very carefully

My moving to the USA caused some panic attacks which were completely eliminated with only two Health Kinesiology sessions. Impressed, I became a Health Kinesiologist the following year and added the modality to my energy healing tool kit. After a particularly intense self-healing session one evening I stopped having the chronic migraine headaches and started hearing my clients’ Guides and being able to help spirits move to the Light.

Around the Solstice of December 2005 I received a spontaneous attunement to the Pink and Blue Strands which I now understand to be the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. Their presence was decreasing fear and balancing my energy system. Life opened up from that moment. Everything was easier, clearer, even more intuitive than before. I slept better. My body was healing fast. I could see energy patterns inside someone’s energy system very clearly, just as I see objects around us.

In the fall of 2006 I learned to whirl and go into the Heart of God and around Christmas of 2006 I was granted Oneness with the Divine, also known as enlightenment. All my severe food allergies were healed in about 10 minutes. And the healing powers flowing through me took a quantum leap! It was only taking minutes to create a healing miracle.

In the fall of 2007  my guides told me in no uncertain terms to start teaching everything I knew, which I did and still do. I have learned not to argue with the Divine!

In 2008 I was initiated into ancient Khemetic knowledge and remembered it very easily, in one week, as if it was an old friend.

Nowadays life is much more peaceful. I guess I have learned not to resist Divine Love and I live in the Heart of God. I surrender to the flow of life so there is much less turmoil. I am happy to listen to the whispers of the Divine that come to me in the shape of intuition and a constant dialogue with God, angels and guides from various spiritual traditions.

Yesterday I was driving out of a friend’s place. She lives on a steep hill and the roads are narrow so I always check my brakes and think about safety driving back down to the main road.

As I left her drive yesterday the friendly voice in my head was very clear: “Take the second road”. My reaction was to complain: “But why? I always take the first road. It’s easier. It’s closer, shorter, faster.” After 20 years of intensive intuition training you would think that I  just do as I am told every time? hmmmm…

So the friendly voice becomes quite stern and repeats: “TAKE the SECOND road”. Ok, I know when I have lost an argument. Second road it is. “Whatever” moans the irritable teenager at the core of this nearly 50 year old.

As I drive past the first road to get to the second road, I see a young woman pushing a baby stroller uphill. She is right in the middle of the road, looking down as the is working so hard up hill.

I was in control of my car and she was far down enough that I don’t think we would have collided. I do think it would have been a little frightening for her to look up and see my car coming downhill towards her and that it would have been very inconvenient for her to have to get out of my car’s way as she was struggling to push the stroller uphill. So of course I am glad I listened!

My heart melted in sympathy as I saw her and remembered my stroller pushing days and I was very grateful I was told to take the second road! It was so much easier for me to drive a few hundred yards than for her to be inconvenienced. If only I would ALWAYS listen!

I was asked twice in the last few days if I ever get out of balance or if I have been doing energy work long enough now that it’s second nature and I am all set.

I do still get out of balance. My inner turmoil can create extremes at times. But I have so many energy tools at my disposition by now that I can regain my balance fast and often (but not always) easily. When I can’t do that I have several amazingly friends who are also very skilled and loving healers so I ask them for help in finding the core of the issue and/or re-balancing me.

The core of my practice when my outside world is in turmoil is to

• go within
• find my center
• surrender the issue to the Divine
• listen to my intuition for guidance

That usually does it and centers me right away. If that’s not enough,

• I follow the thread of unease to the core of the issue
• use the appropriate energy healing process to clear the block, remove the pain, dissipate the negative emotional charge from a memory or past life.

Then life force, which is essentially loving, flows again for me to desire and create from. With gratitude, compassion and … more surrender!

Of course you have read all this a hundred times and heard it from many spiritual teachers. So do you know what the key is? What makes the difference?

PRACTICE. Several times a day, for issues large and small, in all aspects of your life, until you are attuned to a finer, more joyful vibration.
